Sue Morrison, Owner/Instructor,
ERYT 200, RYT 500, Anusara-Inspired

Sue has been teaching in NW Arkansas since January of 2004.  She continues to study with renowned teacher, John Friend, who is the founder of Anusara Yoga.  She hopes to achieve Anusara certification within the next year and currently holds the status of an Anusara-Inspired teacher.  She also has a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters in Natural Health with an Herbology Specialization and apprentices with a Peruvian shaman to discover other modes of healing.

In the year 2000 a traumatic accident left her right arm paralyzed.  She underwent physical therapy with the hope of avoiding surgery which was not guaranteed to bring back the function of the nerves in her right arm.  In the summer of 2002, Sue would discover yoga could create amazing effects on her physical body as well as uplift her mental and emotional state.  She incorporated a more holistic approach to her healing with yoga as her teacher and a lot of personal determination.  In 2003 she started the teacher training program so that she would be able to educate others on the profound healing which yoga delivers.  She has now also completed a Yoga Therapy Training with John Friend and continues to educate and help others with discovering this power which comes from within.  She has been teaching in NW Arkansas since 2003 and wants to serve the community even more through her valuable teaching techniques

Kimberly Pijanowski, Instructor, RYT

Kim has been practicing yoga since 2001 and since her first hour on the mat she has been in love with the practice of yoga.  She did her teacher training at Kripalu Yoga Center  in Massachusetts in July of 2004 (200 hour, Yoga Alliance affiliated).  Kripalu yoga is at the core of her teaching style, but she also has had strong influences from Anusara and Ashtanga yoga practices which influence her classes.  Before finding yoga Kim was over-stressed, lethargic and she hated “working out”.  Yoga has brought her peace, physical strength and helped her find optimistic energy - so she is passionate about sharing this life-transforming exercise with others.

Meggi Wardein, Instructor, RYT

Meggi began her yogic journey in 2005 while living in Venice, California. During a bout of stress, she sought out yoga for it’s renowned calming and healing benefits and thru regular practice began to witness massive changes in her mental, physical, and spiritual bodies. She believes yoga offers us the opportunity to not only stretch and strengthen our physical bodies, but provides a connection to the subtle, yet powerful energy that moves within and around us all. It allows space in our busy lives to breathe, reconnect, and recognize our vast potentials as human beings. Meggi’s passion lies in the study of Vinyasa Flow yoga; she became certified in August 2010 with her teacher Gina Caputo at Kansas Siddhi Yoga and is excited to share the teachings and benefits of yoga. She is deeply grateful to all of her teachers that have guided her on this amazing path – Jamie Elmer, Jason Frahm, Gina, and Sue Morrison.
